High ceiling with tall glass window view. The service is excellent. The French/Californian cuisine is exquisite. "The top floor of the Shangri-La commands a lovely view of Orchard Road and the gardens of the most fashionable residential district in the city... The menu changes frequently, as chefs constantly create new dishes. However, the Maine lobster paella with saffron, black mussel, and lobster chorizo jus was mind blowing... The wine list here is excellent. After hours BLU turns into an atmospheric lounge with live jazz Monday to Thursday till 12:45am; Friday and Saturday till 1:45am. BLU is my pick for the sexiest date venue."
