This trendy restaurant offers classic Italian cuisine in a contemporary and elegant setting. The interiors theme of red, white and silver are tastefully furnished, with the perfect balance of elegance and comfort with attention to details.

The kitchen does not use pork; lard and MSG and vegetarian choices are available upon request.

The wine list serves a good selection of Italian wines, Australian and New Zealand wines and the list is regularly enhanced.

La Vela's Signature Dish of Timballo Di Tonno : (timbale of fresh tuna). it is flavourfully seasoned and served with grilled zucchini.

Tagliata di Manzo con Insalata di Rucola: (thinly sliced Porterhouse steak seasoned with virgin oil, rosemary and topped with arugula salad)

Alternatively, the Spaghetti Alla Vela: (spaghetti tossed with mozzarella, tomatoes and sweet basil) is refreshing and light.

Cotoletta Milanese : (pan-fried breaded veal chop served with cherry tomatoes and basil salad)

Tagliatelle: home-made tagliatelle tossed with swordfish ragout and sun-dried tomatoes

Veal Medalliion: herb-crusted veal medalliions, barolo reduction, sauteed broccoletti, semolina

Fondent: warm chcolate fondent, balsamic marinated strawberries & marsala sabayon

Semi-Freddo Alla Mandorle con salsa di Cioccolato Fondente: is an almond parfait with rich dark chocolate sauce. an indulgent conclusion to a delicious meal.
