It all began in 1988 - Werner & Nancy Hochbaum started up a little German Bakery "Werner's Oven" on the ground floor of Parkway Builder's Centre.
3 years later, Werner's moved to a bigger location at Simpang Bedok with an additional Cafe selling their now famous German Sausages and Ox-Tail Stew.
Now at its current location @ 6 Upper East Coast Road for almost 9 years. This present location boasts an even bigger Bakery and Restaurant capacity newly renovated in May 2006.
A German Restaurant as well as a Traditional Bakery, Werner's Oven, a family business that combines great food and warm service for it's customers.
